Vintage and thoroughbred car and automobilia auction.

During a routine visit to a client near Banbury, Holloways Auctioneers were surprised to find a collection of vintage classic cars and automobilia. The vehicles have been kept in almost concourse condition. Having been dry stored and cared for by the former owner.
The collection belonged to the late Charles Swain, Managing Director of the Menvier electronics companies based in Banbury.
Included in Holloways forthcoming sale are an Alvis 4.3 sports tourer, a Rolls Royce Phantom II tourer and a Morris Bullnose; a Morris 10/6 Special Sports Tourer, a Morris 10/6 cabriolet and a Rolls Royce Corniche convertible as well as a Norton Commando 850 motorcycle.
Holloway’s auctioneers, Jasper Marsh commented: “We expect a lot of interest in this sale from all over the United Kingdom and abroad. We are also expecting to get a great deal of interest in the Rolls Royce from the United States via our international, live internet bidding.”
The sale will be held at the property near Banbury on the 18th of February and the viewing on Thursday 16th of February from 09.30-15.30, Friday 17th of February from 09.30-15.30 and on Saturday 18th February, the day of sale from 09.30-12.00 noon start of sale.

Jonny has worked with Holloways on a part-time basis for three years and has always shown a keen interest in all aspects of the business.
