  • Saleroom Viewing Days

    We are pleased to offer physical viewing of auction lots at our Banbury Salerooms, giving you the opportunity to closely inspect items before placing your bids.

    Viewing is typically available the day before each auction, allowing you ample time to evaluate the condition, quality, and finer details of the lots.

    Whether you are interested in a single item or a selection of lots, our friendly team is on hand to help with any specific queries or requests. If you'd like to view particular items, we recommend contacting our office in advance to confirm the scheduled viewing dates and times, ensuring that you have all the information you need.

    Our dedicated staff will also be happy to assist with any additional information regarding lot details, condition reports, or auction procedures, providing you with the best possible experience as you prepare for the auction.

    Can’t make the auction in person? Email us your maximum bid and we’ll bid on your behalf.

  • On the phone

    Can’t be there in person, but still want to experience some of the auction magic? You can also bid by telephone.

    On the day of the auction, a member of our team will phone you shortly before your chosen lot appears for sale, they will then act on your behalf in the saleroom, bidding on your instruction.

    We have limited availability for telephone bids so they are arranged on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Bid from the comfort of your own home in an online auction. Our buyers premium is 28% + VAT. Our sales are available on the following platforms.

Buyers Premium

Each lot purchased is subject to a Buyer’s premium of 26.5% plus VAT.

Payment & Collection

  • Payment

    Bank transfer - details on the invoice and covering email

    Payment links - to allow card payments through either The Saleroom.com or Worldpay - these will be sent out on Monday following a sale.

    You must pay for and collect your items no later than 5 working days after the sale. No lot can be collected prior to payment having been made. Items not collected after 7 days from the date of the sale will be charged storage at £2 plus VAT per lot per day. Cars will be charged at £5 plus VAT per lot per day.

  • Collection & Deliveries

    Please call 01295 817777 for a price or for deliveries further afield you may wish to use professional movers.

    For collections please call 01295 817777 to book an appointment .

    Collection times are week days from 9.30am to 3.30pm

  • Postage & Packaging

    We recommend that items of a delicate and fragile nature are collected in person or moved by professional packers, ie Mailbox etc.  

    We cannot post firearms whether real, restricted or reproduction or swords.
